FLAVOURED HIKE IN THE ASPE VALLEY - At the heart of the Béarn mountains, the Aspe valley offers a preserved natural environment where men have managed to maintain a tradition of breeding, cheese making and gastronomy. After a short walk or a visit, you will be able to discover a simple, quick and quality menu that will enable you to appreciate the authenticity of the flavours : "l'assiette de pays" (literally, the country plate). L’Assiette de Pays is a unique dish, savoury, sweet or savoury-sweet, made up of products from the terroir that come from local producers or regional businesses (mostly crafts industry). If possible, the inspiration for this dish follows traditional recipes and all the quality criteria. This plate of "discovery of the region" is always accompanied by a glass of wine or of another local drink.

Geocaching is somewhere in between a treasure hunt and orienteering, but with a high-tech twist. It consists of finding hidden clues with the aid of their geographic coordinates. A GPS navigator is used to help lead the navigator towards the clues.
